How to identify the good quality Metal Office Furniture?

Types of Metals

1. Steel has low, medium or high carbon, with most metal furniture being made with low carbon 

2. Stainless steel is good for low maintenance. Made of an alloy of carbon, iron and other metals, its main reason for its strength is because of chromium, which protects from rust and corrosion because of its thin film of oxide on the surface.

3. Wrought iron is good for garden furniture, providing a classic look. However, it's heavy, which is a challenge, but appreciated on windy days. It needs much care, though, and can easily rust and corrode if not waterproofed

4. Aluminum is more common than steel furniture, mostly because it doesn't rust, although it oxidizes, turning into a chalky white. It's also lighter than steel, making it more desirable. Caste and heavy tube aluminum give better quality. Aluminum has to be thicker than steel if it is to have as much strength.

So far, we using the Cold Rolled Steel because of the High Ductility and lower cost of the Raw Material.

Types of Finishes

The main finishes on the metal furniture is Power Coating. 

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. 

And the Power also have two type. One is Firsthand Power and other one is SecondHand Power. And the Price and Finished also will be different. 

So far, we using the Firsthand Power for our Furniture.
